We have provided below a few dessert recipes if you would like to try something different besides the ones in your meal plan:
1. Macadamia fat bombs
Ingredients for 1 fat bomb:
2 tablespoons coconut oil
1 teaspoon macadamia nut butter
Pinch of Himalayan salt
Directions:
1. Melt the coconut oil.
2. Mix the coconut oil and macadamia spread well.
3. Pour the mixture into 1 of the boxes of the ice cubes mold.
4. Put it in the fridge until it’s firm and enjoy later.
5. This is just for 1 fat bomb. You can fill the whole ice cube mold and have
fat bombs for the whole week.
*If you wish, you can make your fat bombs with almond
butter/peanut butter.
2. Cacao Fat bombs
Ingredients for 1 fat bomb:
1 tablespoon coconut oil
1 tablespoon raw cacao powder (organic cacao, no sugar in it!)
1 teaspoon almond butter
Optional: sweetener of your choice: stevia, erythritol
Directions:
1. Melt the coconut oil.
2. Mix the coconut oil with the cacao powder and almond butter until well
combined. If you wish, add a low-calorie sweetener of your choice and by
taste.
3. Pour the mixture into ice cube mold and refrigerate until firm.
4. This is just for 1 fat bomb. You can fill the whole ice cube mold and have
fat bombs for the whole week.
3. Keto Truffles
Ingredients:
4 oz softened cream cheese
2 tablespoons coconut oil
2 tablespoons raw cacao powder+1 more, for dusting the truffles
Optional: 1 scoop of protein powder (protein isolate, with no or really low
sugar and carbs – about 1 g per scoop, chocolate flavor or peanut butter
will suit best, but feel free to add whatever flavor you wish to.)
2 cacao nibs, crushed
Directions:
1. In a large bowl beat cream cheese, coconut oil, cаcao powder and protein
powder together.
2. Use a small cookie scoop or just a regular spoon to form mixture into
balls.
3. Roll the formed balls into the cacao powder and crushed cacao nibs.
4. Place the truffles on a parchment lined baking sheet.
5. Place in freezer to firm, about 20 minutes.
4. Keto bonbons
Ingredients:
1 cup macadamia nut butter or Macadamia nuts (dry roasted)
2 tbsp Coconut oil (measured solid, then melted)
1 tsp Vanilla extract (optional)
stevia, Erythritol, Monk Fruit Sweetener or any other low-carb sweetener
of your choice
1/4 cup Cocoa powder
Directions:
1. Add the macadamia butter, coconut oil and vanilla extract into a
bowl and whisk until everything is well combined.
2. Add the cocoa powder and sweetener gradually, while stirring the
mixture.
3. Lightly wet your hands and form small balls.
4. If you wish, roll the balls into more cocoa powder.
5. Freeze for at least 30 minutes, until solid.
If you want, you can make your own macadamia butter:
1. Pulse macadamia nuts into a food processor/high-speed blender, until
broken down into small pieces.
2. Add MCT oil, melted coconut oil, and vanilla extract.
3. Continue to pureé until nut butter forms. (Try to get it smooth, but if you
can’t get rid of some stray pieces, that’s okay!)
4. Scrape down the sides as necessary. Then mix the rest ingredients as mentioned above.
